Our range of spray knife and tool sterilisers is quickly becoming recognised as the most innovative on the market.
No other steriliser combines the benefits of compliance, water and energy efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
Minimal Water Usage
Our twin-knife steriliser uses just 0.14 ltrs of water per sterilisation. For a beef kill of 350 animals over 8 hours, this can mean 45 ltrs of water per unit compared with an average of 900 litres for an immersion steriliser.
Cost Efficiency
For a daily workload of 350 animals, the Econoliser twin-knife steriliser uses approximately 4kWh of electricity, as much as a 90% reduction in energy costs when compared with immersion systems.
Consistent Temperature
Econoliser has its own built-in water heater, controlled by smart sensors to ensure an optimal sterilisation at every cycle. Water temperature is always on display and our calibrated thermometer allows for easy quality control.
Cleaner and Compliant
Our spray system hits the knife or tool with a blast of clean >82°C water for every sterilisation. Used water is immediately discharged which means no build-up of organic material. Multiple independent tests show excellent swab results.
Improved Kill Floor Environment
Virtually no steam escapes during sterilisation, reducing condensation and drips which can be audit fails. Removing open baths and reducing the transport of very hot water also makes for a safer work environment.
Independence from boilers
Say goodbye to steam boilers. The Econoliser operates efficiently with 45°C hand-wash water, making heat pumps and other renewable technologies a viable option.
Path to Net Zero
Moving to the Econoliser for all of your sterilisers will significantly reduce your carbon emissions. On top of the reduced energy consumption due to heating much less water, removing fossil-fuelled steam boilers opens up the opportunity to implement innovative water heating technologies, including heat recovery, anaerobic digestion, heat pumps and other renewable approaches.
Concerned about compliance?
- Every sterilising spray uses fresh, clean water at > 82 ⁰C
- On-board water heating tank maintains water @ 90⁰C.
- No standing water to become contaminated.
- Automatically triggered on insertion of knife or tool.
- Removes the H&S hazard of hot baths of water at > 82 ⁰C.
- Virtually no steam escapes during sterilisation, which greatly reduces the risk of condensation.
Concerned about wastage?
- Econoliser uses a minimal amount of water due to spray design
- Twin-Knife Econoliser keeps only 0.45 litres @ 90⁰C and uses 0.14 ltrs max per cycle (for a 4.5 seconds spray).
- Tool sterilisers use more due to multiple spray nozzles but design maximises coverage with smallest possible amount of water.
- On-board water heater allows feed water to be anything from cold to 82 ⁰C. Hand-wash temperature is optimal.
- Removes need to pipe water at > 82 ⁰C around your facility
- Opens up opportunity to reduce reliance on large central boilers and use renewable heating technologies.
