Benefits:

- The built-in electric water heater means the water supply can be anything from cold 0°C/32°F up to 90°C/180°F. Automated temperature controls ensure that the water hitting the knife is always above 82°C/180°F.
- Heating the water within the steriliser is by far the least expensive approach since piping hot water around an abattoir is very inefficient.
- The Econoliser only heats the small volume of water needed to sterilise the knife, generally around 0.14 litres.
- The use of spray to sterilise the knife means that there is no bath of standing water to become contaminated by organic matter.
- Virtually no steam produced, to condense on overhead equipment and drip onto carcasses.
- No tank of hot water, zero risk of scalding and more comfortable to work beside.
