Benefits:
- Pre sterilization High Pressure rinse cycle, prevents build up of bone and fat where blade enters motor housing.
- Activated by insertion of the Knife into the unit. Safe and easy for operators.
- No tank of hot water, zero risk of scalding and more comfortable to work beside.
- A reduction of around 90% in water consumption is normal when compared to constant flow immersion sterilisers. A similar reduction in the cost of purchasing, heating and disposing of this water is therefore to be expected.
- The built-in electric water heater means the water supply can be anything from cold 0°C/32°F up to 90°C/180°F. Automated temperature controls ensure that the water hitting the knife is always above 82°C/180°F.
- Heating the water within the steriliser is by far the least expensive approach since piping hot water around an abattoir is very inefficient.
- The Econoliser only heats the small volume of water needed to sterilise the tool, in this model 0.5 litres.
- The use of spray to sterilise the tool means that there is no bath of standing water to become contaminated by organic matter.
- Virtually no steam produced, to condense on overhead equipment and drip onto carcasses.
- Comes standard with water level sensing, which purges any air that gets into the tank automatically, preventing the heater element overheating and the thermal overload tripping.
- Low running costs means that electricity from a renewable source can now be used for sterilisation of knives and tools helping users to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels and reducing their carbon footprint.
